TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
It has always been my belief that both educators and students are part of the same circle. The movement of this circle depends on the understanding that both the educator and student have of each other.

We can all have a unique perspective, and interpretation of information. 然而, 对我来说, having an awareness of this during my interaction with students will foster learning. All students have a desire to improve and my teaching philosophy is centered on their perspective and interpretation of information that allows me to tailor their education.

Understanding that there are different learning styles, my approach is the use of analogies which make the world of difference with some challenging concepts. I particularly emphasize that students should learn to relate their everyday experiences with the concepts being taught.

I also encourage them to redefine the concepts in their own words, while making it part of conversation as much as possible, rather than rote memorization of facts.

It is through these techniques that I purposely design or tailor analogies, learning activities, and curriculum with open dialogue. Because of the advances in computer technology, I am able to use a variety of media and modes of instruction to convey challenging concepts, for a more complete approach to leaning.
